Swapping airplane seats is still being debated on the internet. When kids are involved in a seat-swapping issue, many people tend to support the children or kids' parents. But, this time, netizens support those who paid for their seat slots.
Airplane Seat Swapping Seat Goes Viral
LADBible reported a viral incident involving two kids, a mom, and the CEO of CONQUERing, Tammy Nelson.
Nelson posted a video about her experience, which quickly went viral on TikTok.
She said a woman was already sitting in her seat when she got on the plane.
The mother told her that they could switch seats since her kids were beside her.
Nelson politely said that she'd agree if it were beside the window. Unfortunately, the mother's seat is in the row behind them and is a middle seat.
Because of this, Nelson declined to swap with the parent.
"Having had only 90 minutes of sleep the night before and knowing I had to give a presentation to 500 people, I desperately needed some sleep," explained the CEO via her official TikTok video.

Who did Netizens Support?
Surprisingly, Netizens didn't call Nelson a "Karen" for rejecting the mother's request.
They even told her that it was the right decision to make since she was the one who reserved and paid for the windows seat.
"The amount of families who aren't paying to select their seats together is mind blowing! You were 100% right to not give up your seat," said one of the TikTok users in the comment section.
Another person said she would never ask to swap seats with another passenger if her's is not equal or better.
Meanwhile, others said that the experience of Nelson shows that many people nowadays are really entitled.
These are just some of the comments made by the netizens to criticize the mother who tried to switch seats with Nelson.

@myconquering Having had only 90 minutes of sleep the night before and knowing I had to give a presentation to 500 people, I desperately needed some sleep, so I did not agree to switch seats. ️ Before anyone comes after me… the kids looked like they were about 11 and 15 years old. And the mom was in arms-reach of both of them from the middle seat in the row behind us. The mom proceeded to complain for at least 15 minutes to the person next to her loud enough for me to hear. But the woman actually defended me – several times. It was so kind and I appreciated it so much because I was feeling really guilty. ️ ##airplaneseat##seatswitching##airplanekarens ♬ original sound - MyCONQUERing
