According to Fox News' latest report, RFK Jr.'s Secret Service protection request comes after the FBI shooting and the assassination of a presidential candidate in Ecuador, which happened on Wednesday, Aug. 9.

"The killing of Mr. [Fernando] Villavicencio proves how volatile the political climate has become," explained RFK Jr.'s campaign manager Dennis Kucinich.

He also mentioned the incident where the FBI confronted a man who was accused of threatening U.S. President Joe Biden.

The confrontation didn't end well because the Utah man was shot dead by the government agents.

Because of this killing incident, RFK Jr. wants his Secret Service protection. Kucinich argued that the presidential candidate has met all the criteria for the protection service.

"The only conceivable reason he is being denied is because of a conscious decision by the White House to deny him security and damn the consequences," explained the campaign manager.

NBC News reported that the FBI fatally shot a Utah resident on Wednesday, Aug. 9. Agents said that the man was armed when he was confronted at his home.

They added that the man pointed his weapon at the FBI agents and failed to comply with their orders.

The incident began when the man (identified as Craig Deleeuw Robertson) was allegedly making threats against POTUS Joe Biden.

The Utah resident allegedly said that he will prepare his camouflage and sniper rifle once the American leader visits Utah.

Before this, the guy also openly plotted online the assassination of Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney.

Since the man was making serious threats against Biden, the Secret Service initially referred Mr. Robertson to the FBI.

Former POTUS Donald Trump's Truth Social also notified the FBI regarding the man's threats, which he posted on the social media platform.
