BEWARE: Fake MagSafe Battery Packs Spotted on X Platform

Spotting the new fake MagSafe Battery Packs is pretty easy. All you need to do is to check if they have USB-C charging ports.

If they do, then they're definitely counterfeits. Phone Arena reported that Apple plans to transition all its products, including gadget accessories, to USB-C ports.

Mark Gurman, a reliable Apple enthusiast, said that the giant electronics company is preparing to release a new version of the MagSafe Duo. He added that this new battery pack will have a USB-C port.

Gurman also claims that the new MagSafe Battery Pack could be stackable. This means that iPhone users will be able to place multiple packs together and charge numerous gadgets at the same time.

As of writing, it is still unclear if Apple will introduce the new MagSafe Battery Pack on its upcoming Wonderlust event, which is scheduled on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Apple also hasn't confirmed the exact launch date of the next-gen battery pack version.

But, experts said that since counterfeiters are already preparing their replicas, there's a chance that the tech giant firm will be releasing the new MagSafe Battery Pack into the market soon.

For now, the best thing you can do is avoid purchasing MagSafe Battery Packs with USB-C chargers. Instead, you must wait for Apple's official announcement and ensure you will buy the new iPhone accessory via the official Apple online store.
