Sexyy Red, the popular "Project Town" rapper, clarified that the latest shooting incident in Florida was not linked to her video shoot project.

Sexyy Red Says Florida Shooting Not Linked To Her Video Shoot
The Billboard reported that the Florida shooting incident happened on Thursday, Sept. 14. It specifically took place in the Oakland Park Flea Market at around 8:00 p.m.
Surprisingly, the crime happened while Sexyy Red and Sukihana, another American rapper, were doing their filming a video project for Red's upcoming single "Shake Ya Dreadz."
Sexyy Red posted on her official Instagram account to clarify rumors about her video shoot project on the shooting incident.
"I gotta address the rumors that it happened at my video shoot bc s-t is not true, at all. To be clear it happened at a gas station across the street from my video set," said the American singer.
To back up her statement, Red said that the Florida Highway Patrol and Broward County Sheriff's office informed her that the shooting incident didn't happen at her set.
She also sent her condolences to the family of the victim who was killed, as well as another victim who suffered injuries.
"I send my condolences to the family of the man who lost his life and prayers up for the person who was wounded," said the rapper.
1 Dead, Another Injured
According to The US Sun, a victim was killed in the latest shooting incident in Oakland, Florida. Witnesses of the crime scene said that there were two victims.
One of them was found by the flea market. Meanwhile, the second victim was seen at a nearby Chevron gas station. A witness said that all they heard was four gunshots.
After that, everyone near the crime scene panicked. Broward Sheriff's Office spokesperson, Gerdy St. Louis, announced that one of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene.
On the other hand, responders were able to transport the second victim to a local hospital. Deputies are still investigating the shooting incident.
They are focusing on the Chevron gas station while also taping off several business establishments. As of writing, police officials are not making any arrests.
