These juveniles were arrested on Monday, Sept. 18. The escapees are said to be between the ages of 15 and 17 years old.

Pennsylvania State Police troop's spokesperson, David Beohm, said that four of the teenagers were captured after giving up; they even knocked on a homeowner's door early on Monday.

"They were done, they were tired, they were cold. They basically gave up," he said during a news conference.

Meanwhile, the remaining five escapees were quite tough. They were able to steal a vehicle. Luckily, Pennsylvania cops captured them after a pursuit.

"I don't know what alerted the homeowners, but they broke the window of the car, lights came on, and then they took off," said Boehm.

The state police official announced that the juvenile detention center escapees will be charged with riot, escape, as well as aggravated and simple assaults.

Meanwhile, others will face theft by unlawful taking charges. All the teenagers who escaped were arrested, thanks to the efforts of the state and local police departments.

Around 60 cops worked overnight just to find the juvenile escapees. They used drones and were assisted by their K-9 dogs during the pursuit operations.
