Pentagon UFO Metallic Orb Sighting Update: UAP Hunters Claim Solving This Mystery—What Is It?

Here's what they claim the metallic orb is.

The Pentagon's UFO metallic orb sighting has finally been solved, as claimed by some UAP hunters. The unidentified flying object was first captured on July 12, 2022.

The US Department of Defense, after releasing the footage, said the unknown aircraft was seen hovering beneath an MQ-9 Reaper drone. Since the US government was baffled by this UAP (unidentified aerial phenomenon), many space fans were very interested to know what this object really was.

The Pentagon first released the metallic orb UFO video in April. During that period, the defense department said that the sighting in the Middle East was still in active archive. According to the image acquired by The Vice, the Pentagon clarified that the spherical UAP was detected using electro-optical sensors.

Defense officials clarified that they found no demonstration of enigmatic technical capabilities. They also discovered no apparent threat to airborne-asset of the United States.

Since this metallic orb is in the active archive, that means that the Pentagon hasn't solved it yet. Now, The Daily Mail UK reported that Bellingcat, a UFO hunter group, was able to debunk this UFO aircraft.

The organization claimed that its latest findings answer the widespread speculation that the UAP object might be an alien aircraft. But, what is it?

Metallic Orb Was Just Party Balloon

Bellingcat claimed that the metallic orb spotted by the Pentagon was just a party balloon called Mylar. For those who don't know this, Mylar is a balloon made of silvery metallic plastic.

"When the US Department of Defense published a video seemingly showing a UFO in the Middle East, Bellingcat contributor Nathan Patin and researcher Logan Willians went to working using open-source techniques," said the UFO hunting group.

Bellingcat added that this was needed to verify claims of the unidentified flying object in the Middle East. Involved UFO hunters said that they were able to know this information after analyzing the satellite data, which revealed that the metallic orb was less than 1/2 feet in diameter.

They explained that the balloon might have come from the second and largest religious holiday celebration in the Muslim world; Eid al-Adha. Many true UFO believers and UFO transparency advocates applaud the efforts made by Bellingcat.

However, the UFO hunting group's revelations led to criticisms against the Pentagon since many people are now questioning the Department of Defense why they highlighted this specific footage.
