Oscars 2014: Arby's Buys Pharrell's Infamous Hat For $44,100: 'We're HAPPY To Support A Great Cause & Get Our Hat Back'

Pharrell's infamous Vivienne Westwood hat he wore during the 2014 Grammy Show and 86th Academy Awards has returned to its rightful owner: Arby's.

The musical genius and the fast food chain had a friendly Twitter banter after his hat became an Internet sensation. Arby's famous logo features a hat similar to the one Pharrell wore. Due to the hat's viral success, the producer-rapper-singer placed the hat on eBay and donated the profits to charity.

According to the Associated Press, the hat sold for $44,10, which will be given in full to Pharrell's charity From One Hand to Another. Pharell took to his official Twitter account to thank the buyer, and Arby's responded to his post.

"You're welcome. We're HAPPY to support a great cause & get our hat back," Arby's wrote.
