Justin Bieber might be trying to win back his former flame Selena Gomez after she was spotted with One Direction member Niall Horn.
The "Boyfriend" singer posted a photo of Gomez on Sunday from the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. While Bieber was reportedly not in attendance, the singer took the time to post images of his ex on his official Instagram account.
Bieber captioned the photo: "Most elegant princess in the world." The image reached his 50 million Twitter followers. However, the couple hasn't been spotted together since Bieber's arrest and Gomez's brief stint in rehab this January. Since the break up, Gomez has been adamant about showing she's doing well and is single.
"This year is when I really started feeling powerful," Gomez said in an interview with Seventeen magazine, referring to her "bad breakup" with Bieber. "I actually talked to Katy Perry about guys who are intimidated by strong girls. I haven't found someone yet who could understand my lifestyle, support it, love me through it and not be threatened by it."
However, Hollywood Life reports inside sources close to Gomez revealed she isn't over Bieber and is going out of her way to make him jealous, including making out with One Direction's Niall Horn.
"She knows it's going to piss Justin off because he always says that 1D is trying to steal his crown," the insider told the gossip site. "...Would she see [Niall] again? Yes. He's being a gentleman and that is great for her.
A different source told Hollywood Life Selena isn't ready to get back into a serious relationship, but is having fun hanging out with Horan.
"Selena is happy but it's not looking like a huge relationship is going to come out of this recent hook-up. Friends with benefits is what she likes at this time," another insider told the gossip site. "She'll hang out with [Horan] again because he will be able to take her to some special places."
