Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel are fused, sharing one torso.

Born in Minnesota in 1990, they captured national recognition through their appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 1996, the sisters have now achieved a significant moment in their lives: Abby has tied the knot.

Following this, the Hensel twins were featured in the uplifting reality series "Abby and Brittany" on TLC. The show depicted their experiences driving, embarking on European adventures, and even navigating a moped. After its conclusion following one season, Abby and Brittany had recently completed their college education, earning degrees in education.

The twins appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show on April 8 and 29, 1996. That same month, they were featured on the cover of Life under the caption "One Body, Two Souls."

They later starred in the TLC reality TV show Abby & Brittany from August to October 2012. In an eight-episode series, cameras documented their lives as they graduated from Bethel College, followed by a trip to Europe, and began work as part-time fifth-grade teachers in their home state of Minnesota.

While the twins have shared their experiences with the world, they have previously stressed they do not like being stared at or photographed by strangers when going about their daily lives.

WHEN AND WHY DID THE TWINS GO VIRAL?

Now, one-half of the famous conjoined twins have even more exciting news, as Abby recently tied the knot.

According to public records, Abby Hensel married Josh Bowling in a ceremony in 2021.

The viral wedding spread widely throughout social media networks and is currently trending on TikTok.

Photographs and footage from the wedding were uploaded on May 1, 2023, and have received ten million views since.

In the twins' Facebook profile photo, bowling clad in a gray suit is seen standing in front of the conjoined twins and holding their hands in what appears to be a wedding-related situation. The conjoined twins are dressed in bridal gowns.

In the documentary titled "Joined for Life," released in 2003, Brittany said that she and her sister had shown a desire to have children. While there's no news on that front just yet, Abby, Josh, and Brittany are basking in the little things together.
