'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' Cast: Kim Soo Hyun Joins Marvel Superhero Film In A 'Substantial Supporting Role'

The "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is might have a Korean beauty reporting on set this summer.

According to ComicBookMovie, actress Kim Soo Hyun (Claudia Kim) has joined the Marvel superhero cast for an undisclosed role. The reason why Marvel isn't dishing what Kim's playing: it's a spoiler.

"It would be a spoiler, so we can't tell you which character she will play," an alleged film rep told Osen. "Marvel always prohibits telling too much about the story. Her character is already decided and the scene is already written so we cast Kim Soo Hyun, but we can't let you know about her character. We only can say that her character is a substantial supporting role," the rep added.

Kim released a statement (translated by ComicBookMovie) on her official Twitter account confirming she landed a role in the upcoming "Avengers" sequel.

"After a long wait, I'm happy to be back with great news," Kim Soo Hyun posted on her Twitter. "I have a lot to do ahead of me, but for now, the words 'Welcome to the Marvel Universe' are amazing and kind of overwhelming. I was a fan of Marvel Comics, and if you really like something, looks like fate can make it happen."

Kim joins all-star cast members Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, with Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, and James Spader.

Another "Avengers" actress making headlines is Scarlett Johansson. Johansson, who plays Black Widow in the film, is reportedly four months pregnant, according to E! News. However, production is planning on "fast-tracking" her scenes, so a delay isn't necessary, an insider told the entertainment site.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is slated to hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
