Israeli forces discovered the bodies of three hostages who were killed in Hamas' Oct. 7 attack in a Gaza Strip tunnel, according to reports.

The three - identified as Shani Louk, Amit Bouskila, and Itshak Gelernter - were killed by Hamas when militants overran an outdoor music festival near the border and their bodies were taken to Gaza, Israeli Defense Force spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said, CNN reported.

"They were celebrating life in the Nova music festival and they were murdered by Hamas," he said.

Louk's partially clothed body was seen on viral video being paraded through the streets of Gaza City in the back of a pickup truck by Hamas fighters.

"She was light in her life and in her death," Nissim Louk said, the Times of Israel reported. "This light will accompany the people of Israel."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his heart "breaks for the great loss."

"My wife Sara and I grieve with the families. All our hearts are with them in this hour of grieving," he said on X.

"We will return all our hostages, the dead and the alive alike. I congratulate our brave forces who, with determined action, have returned our sons and daughters home," he continued.

Of the three, only Louk's death was announced before Friday.

The Oct. 7 attack by Hamas killed more than 1,200 people, including women and children.

Around 250 others were taken hostage in Gaza. Since then, about half have been freed, the Associated Press reported.
