An Oregon man faces three murder charges in connection with the killings of three women.
The Multnomah County District Attorney says Jesse Lee Calhoun, 39, is facing charges for the deaths of Charity Lynn Perry, 24, Bridget Leanne Webster, 31, and Joanna Speaks, 32.
All three women were found dead last year under suspicious circumstances.
An investigation by several law enforcement agencies identified Calhoun as a suspect but they did not release any information about how they linked him to the deaths.
Along with the murder charges, a grand jury also indicted him on three counts of abusing a corpse.
The district attorney's office said it "recognizes the profound effect these women's deaths have had on their families, friends, and the community."
Anyone with information about the deaths of any of the victims or Calhoun was asked to contact the Portland Police Bureau.
Last July, investigators and prosecutors from multiple law enforcement agencies determined that there were links between the deaths of four women and they had a person of interest in the case. The charges involve two of those cases.
There have been no arrests in connection with the deaths of Kristin Smith and Ashley Real, who were also named among the four victims.
Calhoun remains in custody at Snake River Correctional Institution and is expected to be transferred to the custody of Multnomah County for arraignment.
