Age apparently wasn't an impediment to grab some quick cash for an 88-year-old bank robber in Montana who was sentenced this week in federal court to two years in prison for two separate heists within four days.

Steven Whitecloud previously pleaded guilty to his role in both jobs. His co-defendant, 26-year-old Patrick Justice, was also sentenced to two years in prison.

Whitecloud admitted to police that he had suggested robbing the banks as a quick way to make money as he had done in the past. He also instructed Justice on how to pull off the jobs, and then served as the getaway driver when Justice robbed a US Bank and Wells Fargo branch in Billings last year.

Whitecloud was convicted of a previous bank robbery in 2008.

In addition to the prison sentence, the federal judge ordered Whitecloud to pay $3,092 in restitution. He also faces three years of supervised released after he completes his prison sentence.
