The search for a 19-year-old from England who went missing on Tenerife in the Canary Islands is in full force as it enters its tenth day.
Jay Slater from Lancashire was reported missing on June 17.
Friends on vacation with the teen said they last heard from him around 8:30 a.m. that day.
Slater told them that he planned to walk back to where they were staying after missing a bus. The journey would take him about 11 hours by foot.
Authorities are currently focused on Masca, a mountainous area on the western tip of the island where Slater is believed to have last been seen, Sky News reported.
Spanish police released footage that shows the hunt for the missing teen from both land and air, while scent dogs have also been brought in to aid the search.
The 35-second montage of clips was posted on the Guardia Civil X account.
"We continue with the search for the young British man missing in Tenerife," police said in the post on Tuesday night. "Different Guardia Civil units from the area participate, joined by agents with their dogs specialized in searching for people from Madrid."
