A Miami massage therapist accused of sexually assaulting a client allegedly tried to bribe her using Zelle, said police.
Jorge Cardenio Destrades Llanes, 53, is suspected of "digitally penetrating" a 28-year-old victim and then offering to pay her $200 "to not tell anyone" via the online payment app following the alleged incident, according to police, WSVN-TV and WPLG-TV reported.
Investigators responded to a Massage Envy Tuesday afternoon and interviewed the victim and suspect.
The victim alleged Llanes assaulted her during a full-body massage.
Llanes allegedly told investigators "he felt as if (the victim) was seducing him sexually" and "that's when he might have touched her vagina unintentionally," the arrest report stated, according to WPLG.
At the culmination of the massage session, the suspect left the room and returned when the victim was dressed. He then allegedly asked for her phone number and offered to send her payment, but she "never received it," said police.
Conversely, Llanes claimed the victim asked him to pay for the massage.
"He believes the victim was asking him for money because he had touched her," the report read, the outlet reported.
Llanes has been charged with second-degree sexual battery. It's unclear if he entered a plea.
