CNN signage near a traffic light with security cameras is displayed outside the studios at the Turner Entertainment Networks as Atlanta prepares for the first 2024 presidential debate between US President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.

Joe Biden's campaign team is hosting an army of social media influencers in its digital war room in hopes that voters who aren't up to date on the presidential race will consume moments from Thursday's debate with Donald Trump.

The digital strategy is aimed at presenting the best version of President Joe Biden, regardless of whether voters check in for Thursday's highly anticipated debate.

Biden campaign officials will be working with social media content creators with large followings to help capture significant moments in the debate, according to NBC News.

Officials said the debate serves as one of several big opportunities over the next few months to get voters more involved with the election.

Biden's campaign is hosting 18 creators with a combined social media following of 8 million people.

The BidenHQ accounts on X and TikTok will be the primary outlets for the campaign's own content during and after the debate.

Additionally, BidenHQ will keep an eye out for any sudden moves from the Trump camp and the Republican National Committee and will be prepared to respond accordingly.
