Police are trying to figure out what happened to Kelly Paduchowski after she went missing in Arizona.

Kelly Paduchowski went for a swim in an Arizona creek and was never seen again. Now her husband is under arrest as authorities continue to try to find out what happened to her.

Police arrested Daniel Paduchowski, 58, on July2, on aggravated assault charges after her mysteriously disappearance on June 30.

The Flagstaff Police Department and the Coconino County Sheriff's Office are coordinating a search to find Kelly Paduchowski, 45.

Following interviews with family members and witnesses, investigators said they "processed evidence resulting in the arrest" of the husband.

"This investigation is ongoing, and the number one priority is to locate Kelly; however, based on current evidence and information, it is believed that Kelly may be the victim of a homicide," police said in the statement.

In a news conference, Flagstaff Police Sgt. Jerry Rintala told reporters that "with further evidence and investigation, further charges could be coming."

Data collected from Kelly's phone placed her in the area of Schultz Creek Trail at roughly 10:20 a.m. Daniel was traced to the same area at 11:30 am.

Police said sometime around noon, Kelly's phone returned to the couple's shared home in the Coconino Estates.

At 1:30 p.m., Daniel is seen with Kelly's white Mazda CX-5 at the Campbell Mesa Trail Head, but it wasn't until 7:39 that evening that he reported his wife missing, possibly in the area of Lake Mary.

Photos taken at the trailhead and obtained by the sheriff's office allegedly show Daniel wearing a dark-colored tee, shorts, and a hat as he looks down at an object.

Daniel's bond has been set at $500,000, according to the Arizona Daily Sun.

Police are asking anyone who had contact with Kelly, Daniel, or saw Kelly's white Mazda CX-5 on June 30 to contact them.
