Tennessee police have one teenage boy in custody following the grim discovery of missing 17-year-old Trinity Bostic's remains near a wooded area alongside a heap of trash.
Hendersonville Police launched a death investigation after human remains were discovered by a TDOT subcontractor picking up trash along S.R. 386 at New Shackle Island Rd.
The body was found close to the roadway in Macon and positively identified as 17-year-old Trinity Bostic.
Trinity was first reported missing in Macon County on June 29.
Authorities believe foul play is involved as the investigation remains ongoing. Further details surrounding the incident are not being released in order to maintain the integrity of their investigation.
The unidentifed 17-year old male is currently being held in Sumner County Detention and is now charged with first-degree murder.
