Britain's Princess Kate received a standing ovation at the Wimbledon tennis tournament on Sunday during her second public appearance since being diagnosed with cancer.
Spectators at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club cheered as Kate, 42, waved to the crowd before taking her seat in Wimbledon's Centre Court royal box with her daughter, Princess Charlotte, Reuters reported.
She later presented Carlos Alcaraz with a trophy after he beat Novak Djokovic in the men's singles final match in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, 7-6.
Kate — whose husband, Prince William, is heir to the British throne — underwent abdominal surgery in January that revealed an unspecified type of cancer, which she publicly divulged in March.
She has been undergoing chemotherapy since February and appeared last month for a military parade to mark the official birthday of King Charles, 75, who is also being treated for cancer.
