A North Carolina man who was sentenced to nearly 10 years in prison for a series of armed robberies was busted after sharing a post-robbery selfie on social media, leading police directly to him.

Hasahn Riyardt Flowe, 27, was also ordered to serve 3 years probation following his release, prosecutors announced Tuesday.

Flowe pleaded guilty to robbery and weapons charges in connection with two robberies of Charlotte, North Carolina gas stations in early 2023.

Surveillance footage from both incidents showed Flowe wearing the same red bandana to cover his face and brandishing the same firearm used in the commission of the crimes.

In both instances, Flowe held the gas station employees at gunpoint and demanded cash from the registers, said prosecutors.

Over the course of the investigation, detectives found selfies of Flowe on social media posing with the bandana and gun, tying him to the robberies. Authorities also recovered the weapon upon his arrest in February 2023.

In October, Flowe admitted guilt.
