Kelly Matthews vows to be in the front row of Wade Wilson's execution.

Before he was a convicted double murderer, the ex-girlfriend of the 30-year-old Florida man dubbed the "Deadpool Killer" said they met on the dating app Plenty of Fish in September 2018, and she was immediately intoxicated by his charisma, charm and undeniable good looks.

"He was tall, 6-foot-4, and had nice teeth and dimples and tattoos," Matthews, 32, recalled to HNGN in an interview Friday.

In the beginning of their 6-month-long whirlwind romance, Matthews said there were never any red flags that indicated he was capable of being a killer. The couple quickly moved in together, regularly went on dates, and she introduced him to her family and friends. It wasn't until February 2019, when their relationship plummeted and Wilson turned into a "psychopath."

"He wasn't violent till the end. He had some mental abuse stuff where he would yell and throw stuff, but he didn't put his hands on me till February 2019. He just reached over and started strangling me and biting my face. He choked me, punched me, raped me," she explained. "He held a knife to my neck."

In a viral TikTok video, Matthews detailed the brutal assault that happened mere months before Wilson murdered Kristine Melton, 35, and Diane Ruiz, 43, later that year.

Before she broke things off, Matthews said she and Wilson were arguing in a parking lot when things turned violently physical.

"He busted my lip open. These are the ligature marks on my hands," she explained, pointing to photos of her brutal injuries. "He tied me up with garbage bags that were in the back of my car, cut the circulation off my hands. I literally thought my hands were gonna fall off."

"These are the marks from being strangled," she explained. "He bit my chin and my ear."

"Things ended after he did that," Matthews admitted. "I drove home and that was it. I never saw him again."

Matthews said she filed a police report, but nothing came of it.

"The detective said Wade told him I was into that kind of thing," she claimed. "He (the detective) didn't feel like he could do anything for domestic abuse because we weren't dating very long and I could have injured myself."

"Had the police done their jobs in my case, he would have been in prison," Matthews said, noting she believes Melton and Ruiz would still be alive. "But they blew it off and didn't pursue him and just let him walk."

Wilson's double murder case gained national attention after scores of women noticed he was a "thirst trap," said Matthews. His level of attractiveness inexcusably captivated the hearts of thousands of admirers who recently flooded his inbox with messages and photos, authorities revealed.

"Knowing he's a murderer makes me concerned that all these women are willing to send him money and photos and sign petitions to save him," she said. "But I 100% think he deserves to die."

While jurors recommended Wilson be put to death for each of the slayings, his fate rests in the hands of Lee County Circuit Court Judge Nicholas Thompson, who is scheduled to announce his decision during Wilson's sentencing hearing August 27.

Matthews is hopeful Thompson will order her ex-boyfriend's execution.

"You'll get what you deserve," she vowed in a message directed to Wilson. "And, I'll be there."
