Justin Bieber's actions during his legal deposition have rubbed many the wrong way, including his mentor Usher, Hollywood Life reports.
TMZ recently published videos of the popstar's legal deposition online. In one of the four videos available, Bieber disses Usher by stating he was discovered online, and refuses to acknowledge the R&B singer had anything to do with his success.
"When asked if Usher discovered him, Bieber disses his mentor and says he was actually discovered on YouTube," TMZ reports. "The best part ... he clearly was trying to say he himself was instrumental in his success, but instead he says, 'I was detrimental to my own career.' Truer words have never been spoken."
Usher is allegedly well aware of Bieber's behavior, but doesn't know what to do to help him during this difficult time for him.
"Usher feels like the person that Justin has become is a complete embarrassment," an insider revealed to Hollywood Life. "Usher is certainly a mentor to Justin but he feels that Justin has gone off the rails and hasn't listened to his advice. Usher is now taking things tot he point that Justin has to live and learn. Tough love is the remedy he thinks Justin needs."
"He can't really reason with Justin over his actions," the source added. "He has tried, but overall [he] has his own career to worry about. Usher makes money off of Justin, which is true, but Usher also has enough money that Justin isn't his main focus either."
Bieber recently reconciled his relationship with on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez just two months after the "Slow Down" singer spent a stint in rehab for emotional issues.
