‘Scandal’ Season 3 Spoilers: Bellamy Young Warns Fans Not to Miss Tonight’s ‘Gutting, Crazy, Life-Changing’ Episode

Bellamy Young, who plays Mellie Grant on ABC's "Scandal," has one piece of advice for fans: do not miss tonight's episode! E! News caught up with some of the cast at the Los Angeles premiere of "Divergent" and of course they dished - a little - on tonight's Mar. 20 episode, titled "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang."

The previous episode, "No Sun on the Horizon," ended with Jake (Scott Foley) shooting either David (Josh Malina) or James (Dan Bucatinsky). Before viewers could see which one got shot, the screen went dark. Immediately after the episode aired "#whogotshot" started trending on Twitter.

Even though the cast refused to spill the beans Young told E! that fans won't want to miss the first few minutes of "Scandal" and it will probably take the full hour for them to wrap their heads around what happened.

"You're going to find something out in the first few minutes that is gutting and crazy and life-changing," Young said. "It's going to take the full hour for you to know the whole story."

Tony Goldwyn, who plays President Grant, described the episode as "killer."

"It's a biggie. I will say is all the options are there," Malina said when asked if his character was the victim. "Perhaps nobody got shot, could have been a warning shot over our heads; could have been another person or a deer in the distance... could have been Jake hunting... could be either or both of us!"

Even though Malina refused to reveal who got shot, he did say he sympathized with fans because for two weeks the cast was left in the dark about what happened. He explained that when everyone sat around for a table read of last week's episode, it ended the same way the show did, with a cliffhanger.

"It caused a lot of anxiety, because I am perhaps healthfully so focused on whether my character survives to the next episode, and it's not like we're given two, three episodes at a time," he said. "So basically we were given a script that ended like that and Dan [Bacatinsky] and I kind of looked at each other like, 'Oh, well, this is going to be a fun two weeks while we wait for the next script!" So yeah, I was a little concerned."

"Scandal" airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
