'Fast And Furious 7' News Update: Paul Walker's Final Scenes Will Be Shot Using Body Doubles And CGI?

"Fast & Furious 7" may use CGI to finish Paul Walker's final scenes for the action-filled production.

The New York Daily News reports sources close the film claim the team is scouting for body doubles to stand-in during the scenes, but later use CGI to recreate Walker's face in post-production.

"They have hired four actors with bodies very similar to Paul's physique and they will be used for movement and as a base," an insider told the Daily News. "Paul's face and voice will be used on top using CGI."

The film's producers its an option that may satisfy fans of the "Fast & Furious" franchise, but have not confirmed the use of CGI to recreate Walker's face, the Daily News reports.

Walker died in a car accident on Nov. 30, leaving behind 15-year-old daughter Meadow Walker. The "Fast & Furious" cast and crew are still feeling the loss of Walker, who was known as a more than just a coworker on set.

In an interview with TooFab.com, "Fast & Furious 7" costar Tyrese Gibson explained how the cast is dealing with Walker death, adding they will honor his memory when they resume filming for the franchise in Atlanta, GA. in March.

"This is the only movie I ever worked on where we are all real close even after the movie is over," Gibson told TooFab. "It wasn't just losing a costar, he was family for real. That's why it took so long to recover."

"God's grace is all we have," he continued. "Before we start filming we are going to have a strong prayer. That will be the start, before we film anything. That's what is needed for us to do 'Fast & Furious 7.'"

"Fast & Furious 7" will is slated to hit theaters on April 10, 2015.
