'Star Wars Episode 7' Cast (PHOTO): Who's Returning To The Franchise, Who Didn't Make The Cut And The Fresh Faces You Need To Know

"Star Wars Episode 7" has officially revealed its cast members, but what will shock fans are the names that didn't show up on the StarWars.com announcement.

The "Star Wars" production team announced John Boyega (Attack the Block), Daisy Ridley (Mr. Selfridge), Adam Driver (Girls), Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis), Andy Serkis (Lord of The Rings), Domhnall Gleeson (Harry Potter) and Max von Sydow (Shutter Island) will officially join the franchise in the upcoming film.

"Star Wars" alums Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Leia), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and Kenny Baker (R2D2) will be reprising their roles in "Star Wars Episode 7."

"We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again," Director J.J. Abrams said in a statement. "We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."

However, there are a few actors with strong rumored connections to the film that were not on the list released by the production. Keep in mind Disney execs have confirmed the cast is "almost" complete and the actors announced may be the ones who've already worked out their contract negotiations.
