Kim Kardashian reportedly made an estimated $18 million from her 72 day marriage to Kris Humphries, but is said to get a lot more once she weds rapper Kanye West later this month. A source told In Touch magazine that the realty star has been "cutting deals left and right" and is expected to make around $21 million from her wedding.
Reportedly, most of that money is coming from the E! Network who will film everything leading up to the wedding and the day after but not the actual ceremony.
"She's taping everything else so she can get things for free in exchange for the exposure," a source told In Touch.
"They realized how much their wedding was costing, so they told E! they wouldn't allow parts of it to be taped unless the network offered them more than $15 million, which is what Kim got for her wedding to Kris [Humphries]," another source added. "Her mom couldn't help herself either. Kris is trying to get them another $4 million for their wedding photos."
There have been rumors that Kardashian and West will release behind-the-scenes wedding photos to Vogue magazine. The couple graced the cover last month. According to In Touch, the reality star filmed her bridal shower for E! but nothing was paid for by the reality star or her family.
"[The guests'] decadent food, drinks and goodies [were] paid for or sponsored by brands that wanted exposure," the source said. "E! picked up the rest."
"Kim made millions off her last wedding on top of everything that was paid for," the source continued. "She understands the business of having a televised wedding."
The source explained that Kardashian's wedding in 2011 to Humphries would have cost her $10 million, but because it was televised she ended up making $18 million. Reportedly, she made $15 million from her deal with E! to air the wedding.
According to the Daily Mail, she also raked in another $1 million from People magazine for exclusive rights to wedding photos and the reality star was paid $500,000 to host her own bachelorette party at Tao in Las Vegas.
In the past Kris Jenner has denied claims that her daughter made money from her wedding.
"The one thing that is the most annoying is the rumor that she made millions off of this wedding," Jenner said. "She didn't make a dime and, actually spent millions of dollars on the wedding - so it's not something that she thought would ever not be happily ever after."
