The "Star Wars Episode VII" production may have added two more females to their cast.
According to The Latino Review, actress Katie Jarvis and Maisie Richardson-Sellers have landed roles in the production:
First up - Katie Jarvis - an actress from Essex, Mia from Fishtank. If you've seen Fishtank, you probably think this is a cool choice. She's a capable actress but doesn't have a specific type of role that's been assigned to her persona.
Second - Maisie Richardson-Sellers - we can confirm reports that Maise Richardson-Sellers has been around the Star Wars production. It's looking like rumors from last month that the Oxford-graduate will be taking a female role might turn out to be accurate.
Richardson-Sellers was once rumored to be playing a descendant of Obi Wan Kenobi. The actresses have been allegedly spotted on set, but the "Star Wars Episode 7" production has yet to confirm their official casting.
"Star Wars Episode 7" will star John Boyega , Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow, along with returning cast members Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Leia), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and Kenny Baker (R2D2).
Director J.J. Abrams has released an official statement on StarWars.com about the film's cast members. "Star Wars Episode 7" will be released to theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
"We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again," Abrams said. "We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."
