‘Breaking Bad’ Spinoff: Bryan Cranston’s Walter White to Appear in New Show ‘Better Call Saul’?

Bryan Cranston's "Breaking Bad" character Walter White will reportedly appear on the spinoff show, "Better Call Saul." According to Hollywood Life, the former chemistry teacher will definitely pop up on the new AMC show.

"With the new show coming and the possibility of flashbacks of flash-forwards, there is going to be something with Walter White," a source told Hollywood Life.

"They won't do it as a gimmick, it will actually mean something when they do it," the source added. "Definitely expect the return of Walter White in some way, shape or form in the new show."

The source said he wasn't sure if Walter was still alive at the end of the series finale but said that producers "have options of bringing him back and that they will do it in an awesome way."

Recently Cranston hinted that "Breaking Bad" might not be over yet and his character still had a chance to pop up somewhere. In an interview with CNN, the actor was asked if Walter died in the finale.

"Hey, you never saw bags zip up or anything. Or say... you know," Cranston teased.

He was also asked about whether the character could appear in a movie or TV show and once again, Cranston teased "never say never." Fans of the show have often wondered if the final scene in the series meant the character was gone for good.

According to CNN, fans were so distraught over "Breaking Bad" coming to an end that a mock funeral for Walter White was held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the series was set and filmed. AMC previously announced a spinoff show but details have been scarce.

What we do is that "Better Call Saul" will follow criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. It's been said the spinoff will be more like a prequel and reveal how Saul got into business.

"Better Call Saul" will premiere on AMC in November.
