Was the pot calling the kettle black? TMZ posted a leaked video of Donald Sterling's rumored girlfriend V. Stiviano mocking African Americans. Reportedly the video was shot back in 2011 as part of a reality show about gold diggers.
Stiviano was selected to appear on the show, TMZ reports.
"I don't understand black people. You give them a little bit of money, they don't know what to do with it," she said in the beginning of the video.
"[Black people] just act crazy... they're like, 'Yo, I wanna put extra rims on top of my rims. And my rims are gonna turn around. I'm gonna call them spinners. That's what I'm gonna do. That's how much money I have. That's exactly what I'm gonna do. And they do stupid shit like that, when there's people starving around the world. And that's what people wanna do with their money."
At another point in the clip, Stiviano is riding in a car with a friend and pulls out an Elmo doll and starts playing with it. During the car ride she said, "Elmo don't worry about it, she's black [referring to her friend]. We don't like black people."
It's believed that the 31-year-old model is Mexican and African American. Stiviano was accused of leaking audiotapes in which Sterling made racist comments about African Americans. According to a previous report by TMZ, the two had got into an argument on Apr. 9 after Stiviano posted a photo with Magic Johnson on her Instagram page.
In the audio, Sterling told the model that he would prefer if she only associated with black people in private. He also told her not to bring them to any Los Angeles Clippers game. Stiviano eventually deleted the photo.
"It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you're associating with black people. Do you have to?" Sterling said at one point in the audio.
"You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that... and not to bring them to my games," he said.
After the tapes leaked, Sterling was banned from the NBA for life and was also fined $2.5 million. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver was also pressuring him to sell the Clippers. Recently the 80-year-old signed over the rights to the team to his estranged wife, Shelly Sterling.
According to reports, Shelly sold the team for $2 billion.
