Is there trouble in paradise for "Bachelor" Juan Pablo and his girlfriend Nikki Ferrell? According to Reality Steve, the two are currently filming for a new reality show: VH1's "Couples Therapy."
The site claims that JP and Nikki are not doing the show because they are having relationship issues but for the money. Reportedly, they can each make about $40,000 if they appear on the reality show.
E! News confirmed that JP and his girlfriend will do the show but said everything is being kept hush hush for now. VH1 has not confirmed that the two will be one of the couples seeking advice from Dr. Jenn Berman but did say that a "mystery couple" will be on the new season.
So far the only confirmed couples are Jenna Jameson and John Wood, "Big Brother's" Dick "Evil Dick" Donato and Stephanie Rogness-Fischer, Naughty by Nature's Anthony "Treach" Criss and Cicely Evans, and "Jersey Shore's" Deena Cortese and Chris Buckner.
A source told E! that VH1 doesn't want to make the announcement about JP and Nikki yet because the former soccer player still has a contractual obligation to ABC.
"It's true, they're doing it," the source said. "The reason it wasn't put in the press release is due to Juan Pablo's deal with ABC. It's not up until August, so, contractually, it can't be mentioned until then."
There's been a lot of speculation about Juan Pablo and Nikki's relationship but the source told E! that they are still very happy together. The two are currently trying to make their long-distance relationship work; Juan is in Miami and Nikki lives in Kansas City where she's a pediatric nurse.
"Juan Pablo is very happy with Nikki," a source told E!, adding that the two are even "talking about their future."
Season 5 of "Couple's Therapy" premieres Sept. 10 on VH1.
