Let the countdown begin! "Game of Thrones" fans are eagerly awaiting the Season 4 finale and we have reason to believe that it's going to be just as shocking as the horrific Red Wedding.
A description of episode 10, titled "The Children,' leaked online and states "Circumstances change after an unexpected arrival from north of the Wall; Dany [Daenerys] must face harsh realities; Bran learns more about his destiny; Tyrion sees the truth about the situation."
In the finale, Tyrion will learn if he will be executed or not after being framed for the death of his nephew King Joeffrey. The young king died at his own wedding banquet after his wine was poisoned by Petyr Baelish and Olenna Redwyne.
Recently the cast and crew have been dishing about the upcoming finale. "Game of Thrones" director Alex Graves previously told USA Today that he thinks the episode will be the "most exciting" one to date.
"It's the largest, I think, most exciting episode that's been done," Graves said. "[The Season 4 finale has] a brilliant script that coincided with so many amazing events from the books [penned by George R.R. Martin]."
Kit Harington (who plays Jon Snow) has also been dropping hints and said at the June 11 premiere of his new film, "How To Train Your Dragon 2," that he was excited for fans to watch the finale.
"I think this could be one of the best episodes of 'Thrones' we've done," he said, according to CNN. "Usually the big impact episodes is [the ninth], and then we wrap everything up in the 10th. But this show doesn't like doing what people think is going to happen; we like changing things up, and it's a lot that happens in this episode. It's going to throw a lot of people; it's going to be very exciting."
One thing fans can look forward on Sunday, is a "very broken" Jon. In episode nine, he lost his wildling love, Ygritte.
"[Jon is] a much colder person after this. He loses a lot of whatever warmth he had, which, let's face it, wasn't a lot," Harington told Elle magazine. "There's a lot of lessons he's learned in this last episode about doing what you need to do to survive and surviving past losing your love is one of those things. At the beginning of episode 10 you see a very broken man."
"Game of Thrones" Season 4 finale premieres Sunday, June 15 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
