UFC Welterweight fighter Tyron Woodley may be involved in the "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" production.
Yahoo! Movies reports Woodley revealed the possible casting during a "Great MMA Debate" podcast. Woodley claims he's been offered roles in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and Marvel's "Ant-Man" production.
"I had a couple of projects that I wasn't going to be able to do because they were going into this training camp," he said, referring to his training for the fight with Rory MacDonald at the UFC 174. "The good thing about movies sometimes the budget's sometimes off and they have to reschedule things so there's three big projects that I'll get to work on directly after this fight."
"I've got a Marvel and a DC project I should be able to jump on and continue my career there as well. 'Man of Steel 2' [now known as 'Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice'], I've got some calls about doing that so I would love to take advantage of that if the time-frame works out. There's another movie called 'Ant-Man' that's coming out and I might be able to get some work on that as well. I'd like to do both and I think I'll be able to."
Woodley may have been in talks for roles in the productions, but the "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" camp hasn't confirmed he has joined the cast. However, "Game of Thrones" actor Jason Momoa will reportedly play Aquaman in the upcoming film despite denying rumors of his involvement in the production.
While Warner Bros. hasn't made that announcement officially yet, HitFix can confirm that he will be playing the part, and that Zack Snyder has already finalized his designs for the character so shooting can take place soon," according to HitFix.
"Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" will be released to theaters May 6, 2016.
