"Bachelorette" Andi Dorfman has reportedly quit her job as a district attorney in Atlanta. According to TMZ, Dorfman decided not to extend her unpaid leave at the Fulton County District Attorney's office. Fulton County D.A. Paul Howard Jr. had previously granted the 26-year-old a leave-of-absence so she could film the "Bachelorette" but said that Dorfman needed to return to the job by May 31.
A source told TMZ that the Atlanta native didn't want to ask for an extension on her leave, so she decided to resign instead. The D.A. told TMZ that if the reality star wanted her job back, they would definitely re-hire her.
The fact that Dorfman quit her job could hint at how her season of the "Bachelorette" ends. Dorfman has said many times that while she loves her job, she would be willing to put her career on hold to focus on her love life.
"I love my job, my family, my friends but I get a second chance at this insanely amazing opportunity, and this is my shot at love," Dorfman said, according to Bustle. "My shot at enjoying my life with somebody. To me the opportunity to meet someone [that] hopefully and potentially is the love of my life. I mean, that's the easy decision - that doesn't mean it's not scary, but at the end of the day finding true love blows all of that out of the water."
Back in May, TV blogger Reality Steve revealed exactly how Dorfman's season of the "Bachelorette" ends.
WARNING: Spoilers ahead for the current season of the "Bachelorette."
According to Reality Steve, Dorfman ends the season with a proposal from the man of her dreams. Reportedly the 26-year-old hands the final rose to 31-year-old Josh Murray and accepts his marriage proposal.
If Reality Steve is right (which he usually is), Dorfman could be busy planning her wedding this summer.
