"Grand Theft Online" has delayed the update allowing gamers to participate in online heists.
Rockstar Games has apologized to their "Grand Theft Auto V" fans for the delay of the Online Heists. The gaming studio released the following statement:
"For those of you asking about other upcoming GTA Online updates, we have lots more in store coming your way soon. We know many fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the Online Heists that we had planned to release for you this spring, and they are taking more time to create than originally anticipated.
"We are very sorry for the delay, and are working hard to bring them to you as soon as we can. Please know that we are focused as always on making the best possible content for you to play and we are thankful to all of you for your patience, understanding and support. Stay tuned for more information on that as well as lots of other ongoing content updates, enhancements and additions to the world of GTA Online that are on the way."
Rockstar Games recently announced GTA 5 will be released to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Along with better graphics and improved gameplay, the next-gen console release will also come with a video editor designed for "advanced movie-making" for the PC version.
"Grand Theft Auto V will take full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail," Rockstar said in their newswire. "Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North's epic reimagining of Southern California."
The next-gen and PC version of the GTA 5 will be released this fall.
