Kelly Rowland just gave the world its first glimpse of her growing baby bump and the singer is a lot further along than expected. The 33-year-old posted a caption-less photo to her Instagram on June 19 showing off her tummy in workout gear.
In the photo, it looks like Rowland was practicing a little bit of early morning meditation. The expectant mom first hinted at her pregnancy last week when she posted a picture of baby Jordans next to adult, male Jordans with the caption, "I'll be stuntin like my daddy..."
Pregnancy rumors first surfaced last weekend when the "Dirty Laundry" singer was performing at the "Rhythm On the Rover" music festival wearing a slightly baggy outfit. According to several sites, fans thought Rowland was trying to conceal her bump in a grey crop top and matching high-waisted pants.
Last year, the former Destiny's Child member told E! News that she wasn't quite ready to become a mom because she felt like she was too selfish.
"I'm not ready. I'm not ready to have a child. I can be very honest," Rowland said. "Because right now, I'm a bit selfish, a lot - I was gonna say a little - but I'm still selfish."
"I like my time, I like to wake up whenever I want to and I like to come and go as I please," she added. "I don't know if I'm ready to share that time with another person, I don't wanna mess them up."
This will be the first child for Rowland and her new husband Tim Witherspoon. The two quietly married on May 9 in Costa Rica. Following the nuptials, the singer told US Weekly that her wedding to Witherspoon was "perfect."
"Perfect. That's [all I'll say]. Perfect. Perfect day," Rowland said.
