Wonder Woman's costume in "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will pay homage to Amazonian warrior princess' roots, according to JoBlo.com.
The movie website claims the production won't be taking inspiration from Wonder Woman's new 52 outfit. Actress Gal Gadot will be sporting a "traditional, yet sleeker" version of the warrior's armor.
She will allegedly wear a blue leather skirt with a variation of the red breastplate. The new Wonder Woman will also wear silver cuffs and a new golden tiara.
JoBlo also claims they have the scoop regarding the warrior princess' weapons. Gadot will reportedly have an arsenal at her disposal, including a shield, sword, spear, and her signature gold lasso.
Gadot's new character will be introduced as Diana, but her intentions in Metropolis and her personal history will be "vague," according to JoBlo. She will eventually team up with Batman and Superman, who will clash throughout the film.
The movie website also revealed rumors of Lex Luthor's plans to ruin Superman's reputation in Metropolis:
"Lex Luther (who is rumored to have longish red hair at the beginning of the film) thinks he is god's gift to humanity and the best that humanity has to offer, which leads to his hatred of Superman."
"Because Superman is basically a "god" it makes Lex feel less than perfect. Lex tries to sway people to dislike and fear Superman - and many people ARE swayed. Some see Superman as a hero, while others see him as the ultimate threat."
Fans may be getting a sneak peak of the production during San Diego Comic Con in July. Latino Review reporter Umberto Gonzalez, also known as El Mayimbe, claims there are as rumors stating the production will tease footage of the film Hall H during the convention.
"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be released to theaters on May 6, 2016.
