The cast and crew of "The Walking Dead" are currently filming Season 5 in Atlanta and recently Entertainment Weekly caught up with actor Norman Reedus, who plays fan-favorite character Daryl Dixon.
Because Reedus was most likely sworn to secrecy, he couldn't reveal too much about what's going on in Atlanta (that's what spoilers are for anyway) but he did tell EW that Season 5 is going to be pretty "badass" and the scripts are awesome.
"The scripts are the best scripts so far, and I'm really just excited to be back at it," Reedus told the magazine. "There are a lot of characters right now, so there are a lot of really different personalities on set. And it's super interesting, everyone's really bringing it. It's going great. It's so dynamic because it's so fast-paced and so complicated. It's great to be back."
There have been hints that the "ass-kicking-take -no-prisoners" Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) would be back for Season 5 - after slipping into a mellow and defeated Rick last season - and Reedus told the magazine that fans will see other characters adopt that same, new attitude.
"It's interesting, because a lot of personalities are clashing, or characters' personalities are clashing. But yeah, we definitely have Rick back," he said to EW.
Of course, he didn't reveal which characters would be clashing with each other but we can only imagine what goes down once everyone is reunited. Tyreese still has no idea that Carol supposedly killed and burned his girlfriend, the group doesn't know Mika and Lizzie were killed because Lizzie went batshit crazy and Maggie doesn't know Beth is missing.
Yea, that group has a lot of catching up to do and we can't wait to see what happens when Season 5 returns in October.
