"Once Upon A Time" has found their Elsa, Anna and Kristoff for their "Frozen" inspired story arc in season four.
TV Guide reports Elsa will be portrayed by "Fringe" actress Georgina Haig. Elsa's younger sister Anna will be played by Elizabeth Lail and actor Scott Michael Foster will play Kristoff.
In the show's season finale, Elsa broke out of Rumplestiltskin's vault, freezing everything in her path. Elsa kept her back to the camera, never revealing her face to the audience.
Many fans were concerned the show would turn Queen Elsa into an ice-cold villain. However, "Once Upon A Time" Executive Producer Adam Horowitz assured fans else was never met to be a bad guy.
"The thing we loved so much about that movie, among a million other things, was that Elsa was misunderstood," Horowitz told TV Guide.
"She was never a villain," Executive Producer Edward Kitsis added.
In the hit animated film "Frozen," Elsa is a princess who has the ability to freeze anything she comes in contact. As a young girl, Elsa's parents allowed her to play with Anna using her magic when she accidentally freezes Anna.
Elsa and her parents take Anna to The Trolls to save her life. However, Anna's memory of her sister's ice magic was wiped and Elsa had to hide her true self from her sister, isolating the future queen in the process.
When Elsa is crowned after her parent's death, Anna accidentally exposes her sister's magic and drives her to run away from the throne.
"Frozen" was released on Nov. 22, 2013. According to Box Office Mojo, the Disney animated film has grossed more than $1.2 billion worldwide. The film also won the Oscar for best animated film in 2014.
