Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey Divorce: ‘Wild ‘N Out’ Host Barred from Discussing Marriage Problems, Split?

Mariah Carey is not happy Nick Cannon blabbed to "The Insider" about their marriage problems. News broke earlier this week that Carey and Cannon, who married in 2008, were headed for a divorce. On Thursday (Aug. 21) the "America's Got Talent" host confirmed the reports saying that he and his wife have been living in separate houses for months.

"There's trouble in paradise," Cannon told "The Insider," adding that he was focusing on his kids.

The couple is parents to twins Monroe and Moroccan. Apparently Carey caught wind of her husband's interview and "barred" him from discussing their split, TMZ reports. According to the site, the confidentiality agreement is now a part of their divorce and if Cannon does blab, he'll be forced to pay.

Reportedly the document stipulates that the "Shake it Off" singer has the right to announce the couple's split under her terms. TMZ previously reported that the couple's marriage issues started back in March after Cannon appeared on Big Boy's radio show, where he talked about his sex life with Carey and his past hookups.

Sources said Carey got upset when Cannon mentioned Kim Kardashian as an ex-girlfriend.

"We're told Mariah tore into Nick for weeks, feeling humiliated and the relationship never recovered," TMZ wrote. "We're told it went from bad to worse when Nick went on Howard Stern and talked about Mariah not giving it up before they got hitched. She went nuclear."

According to TMZ, the divorce is a "done deal" and the two are now working out custody agreements for their children and property settlement.
