“X-Men: Days of Future Past” star James McAvoy might finally be losing his hair for the next franchise installment.
McAvoy spoke to The Huffington Post about the upcoming “X-Men: Apocalypse,” confirmed his character, Professor Charles Xavier, will be older in the next installment.
“I think I'm losing my hair finally. And, yeah, that's kind of all I know,” McAvoy told HuffPost.
The actor claimed he hasn’t been given a script or rundown of the film, but he did get an email from writer Simon Kinberg explaining the details will be given out soon.
"I got an email from the [producer/writer Simon Kinberg] who informed me he was getting dead excited about stuff, but he didn't want to divulge anything for a couple of weeks, so I really don't know," he said.
McAvoy isn’t the only “X-Men” actor who’s excited to get their hands on the “Apocalypse” script. Actor Michael Fassbender recently spoke to IGN about Magneto’s potential story lines in the next film.
Fassebender explained he’s most interested in seeing how the events of “X-Men: Days of Future Past” will affect “Apocalypse.” The actor admitted he has talked to Kinberg about a possible new director for his character Magento.
"Yeah, I mean, I haven't got a script or anything yet, but I'm always excited to see where Simon Kinberg's going to go with the next X-Men,” Fassbender told IGN. “X-Men's been great to me and allowed me to do so much, including films like Frank.
“I've had a lot of fun with the cast and with the character, Magneto. So I had a good chat with Simon [Kinberg] when we were on our way to Moscow, and we tossed around some ideas on the plane over there. So I'm pretty excited to see how it all comes together."
“X-Men: Apocalypse” is slated to hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
