“Game of Thrones” actor Charles Dance may have revealed a major spoiler for the upcoming fifth season.
Dance spoke with MTV News about the HBO series, claiming he wasn’t going to reveal any information about the show. However, Dance confirmed season four won’t be the last fans see of Tywin Lannister.
Check out the Dance’s interview with MTV News in the video below. Though Dance may be making an appearance in season five, Hodor actor Kristian Nairn has a year-long hiatus from the show.
Narin confirmed to ABC his character won’t be featured in the fifth season because Bran Stark’s storyline has caught up to the novels.
"We’re actually not in Season 5, by the way,” Narin said. “We have a season off and we have a year's hiatus, solely because I imagine our storyline is up to the end of the books. So, I get my year off now to do Rave of Thrones and gallivant all over the world."
It’s unclear when George R.R. Martin will finish the sixth installment of “A Song of Fire and Ice” saga, “Winds of Winter”, but the author is taking time off of writing for the HBO in order to complete the novel.
Martin told Digital Spy he’s focused on completing the sixth novel and doesn’t want to take any time away from his writing process by contributing to the “Game of Thrones” series.
"I'm not writing a script for season 5, but I'm still a co-executive producer, so I'm still involved on that level," Martin told Digital Spy. "It takes me about three weeks to a month to write a script, and with all the pressure to finish and deliver 'The Winds of Winter,' I decided my time was better spent finishing the book than taking off three weeks to a month to get a script done."
