The sold-out Moto 360 smartwatch appears back in stock at Best Buy online store in a new "Stone Leather" variant with 1-day shipping.
The Moto 360 that was quickly sold out in Best Buy and Motorola online stores is back in business again. Best Buy has listed a new variant of the Moto 360 in Stone Leather finish. The standard black and gray leather Moto 360 is sold out across all online stores, including Motorola's own store.
The new stone leather finish for the Moto 360 is slightly darker than the original gray variant. Otherwise the smartwatch has a classy look with sleek circular display and metal bezel. The main question here is how badly you wish to buy the Moto 360? The different color shade for the band is just an expansion of the Moto 360 variants and the only available for purchase at the moment.
Moto 360 is also expected to arrive on Google Play but has been delayed until Oct. 6. Motorola is currently selling the smartwatch through its online store and Best Buy. The new Stone Leather variant hasn't been listed on Motorola's own website but it is likely the new variant will be available when the smartwatch arrives in stock along with black and grey versions.
Moto 360 was the first smartwatch to feature a circular display but LG has followed the feat with a similar round-face display in LG G Watch R. The Moto 360 packs a 1.5-inch dial with 320 x 290 pixel resolution and 205 ppi, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It also sports features like integrated heart rate monitor, pedometer, IP67 rating for water resistance among others. The smartwatch's 320mAh battery is found to run all-day on moderate usage.
The smartwatch first hit the stores earlier this month with a price tag of $250. Within minutes the smartwatch went out of stock. The company has been refueling its smartwatch stock since and a new Stone Leather Moto 360 is the result. Best Buy is offering the new smartwatch for the same price with one-day shipping. Sadly, the option for an in-store pickup isn't available.
