'Batman vs. Superman' Movie Update: Old Mansion Possibly Transformed Into Wayne Manor (PHOTOS/VIDEO)

New images may provide the first look at Wayne Manor in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Batman-News has published several images of the Ransom Gillis House, an abandoned mansion in Detroit which is the alleged set for the Wayne Manor. Cameras also caught footage of film crew, an alleged Alfred Pennyworth sighting and Gotham City Police Department vehicle near the mansion.

“Remember, in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice it’s rumored that Bruce Wayne lives in a modern-looking cottage by a lake that’s on the mansion’s property,” Batman-News reports.

“The Batcave is said to be housed underneath the cottage. So if Wayne hasn’t been back to Wayne Manor in quite some time, it’d make sense for it to look a little weary.”

A male, unnamed extra recently spoke about his time on the “Batman vs. Superman” set to MLive. The extra claimed he worked on a 200-person shoot where he was dressed as a “new age” nerd, possibly describing the new LexCorp backdrop.

The extra couldn’t dish any details regarding the plot lines or who he saw on set, but claimed director Zack Snyder will shock audiences in a good way.

“I'm hoping that it blows ‘Avatar’ out of the water. Avatar is a beautiful movie, but it's the same old story,” he said. “I want it to be knocked off the top, and I think fans should expect to be blown away (with ‘Batman v Superman’) and damn near have tears in their eyes.”

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is slated to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
