'Gotham' Series Introduces Arkham Asylum, Tease Possible 'Arrow' Crossover Character?

FOX’s “Gotham” will be introducing the Arkham Asylum in the third episode of the premiere season.

The latest teaser shows Gotham has plans to revamp the asylum, and it also takes the opportunity to introduce Victor Zsasz to the series, along with a possible Professor Pyg.

Check out the trailer for the third episode of “Gotham” in the video below. Along with a Zsasz appearance, multiple outlets are buzzing with possible FOX and CW franchise crossover characters.

MTV News reports a character from CW’s “Arrow” may be featured in the “Gotham” series.

During the Television Critics Association press tour DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns told the crowd their TV shows exist in the same universe.

“It’s a separate universe than film so that the filmmakers can tell the story that’s best for film,” Johns told the press. “While we explore something different in a different corner of the DC universe. We will not be integrating the film and television universes.”

However, a reference to the “Dollmaker” in the second episode of “Gotham” is raising red flags. The “Arrow” series introduced the character during the second episode of their premiere season, played by Michael Eklund.

It is possible Eklund reprises his role as the serial killer who fills his victims with rubber to make them “living dolls.” Since “Gotham” is a prequel, the show could bring on the character to show his villain origin story.
