There's more Twisty the Clown coming up in episode two of "American Horror Story" and things are about to get a little bit freaky. Fans were introduced to the creepy killer clown in the premiere episode of the fourth season, subtitled "Freak Show," and TV Guide has the scoop on what to expect next.
According to the site, one mother is so desperate to please her son that she's willing to do anything, even hire a murderous clown.
"The overgrown petulant child runs away from home to join the freak show. But when even the freaks are, like, um, no thanks, his mother (Frances Conroy) brings the freak show to him - by hiring Twisty the Clown! We won't go as far as to say that the two get along, but nobody dies. So that's something," TV Guide wrote.
This spoiler was teased during the sneak peek of the second episode, titled "Massacres and Matinees." You can check out the video below. According to an official description released by FX, episode two focuses on "a citywide curfew threatens to shut down the Freak Show. A strongman from Ethel's troubled past arrives at camp. Gloria arranges a terrifying play date for Dandy. The Tattler Twins reveal a talent that could knock Elsa from the spotlight."
Sounds like there's a lot happening this week on "American Horror Story." In related news, FX renewed the anthology series for a fifth season, following the premiere of Season 4 which shattered ratings records. According to TV Line, Season 5 will have 13 episodes and premieres next year.
Creator Ryan Murphy previously spoke to Entertainment Weekly and said that the first two episodes of this season hold clues about Season 5.
"There are clues in the first two episodes because I figured out Season 5 very early on and I know that the fans love that. So there are clues that are dropped," he said.
Murphy also revealed that next season would be "a radically different idea from the stuff we've been doing and it will take a lot of playing." He said Sarah Paulson (who plays conjoined twins Dot and Bette on Season 4) "really loves" her character for next season.
According to E! Online, details for Season 5 of "American Horror Story" won't be announced until the spring.
