Troubled actress Amanda Bynes was spotted roaming Sunset boulevard Thursday evening after she was released from a California psychiatric facility. The 28-year-old involuntarily checked into Las Encinas Hospital on Oct. 27 after displaying odd behavior and accusing her father of sexually abusing her.
According to TMZ, Bynes was seen walking the streets alone searching for a place to stay but many hotels in the area turned her away. Sources said Bynes then stopped at a diner on the Sunset Strip where she devoured her meal.
A waitress at the restaurant told TMZ that Bynes paid for her food but was mumbling to herself. She was also, reportedly, complaining about her recent 20 pound weight loss but said she didn't want people to see her eat because she would "look like a fat ass." The waitress claims that the young actress seemed to be out of it.
TMZ reported that Bynes went to hearing officer at the psychiatric center earlier on Thursday and asked to be released. The officer granted the former Nickelodeon star the release because he felt like she was well enough that she couldn't be held at the facility against her will.
Just last week, Bynes' parents asked a judge for a 30-day extension because they believed the actress still needed medical care. Earlier in the week, Lynn and Rick Bynes were granted a second conservatorship for their daughter.
Soon after her release, Bynes went on a Twitter rant once again accusing her father of sexual abuse.
"I am going to court today with my lawyer to prove that I am more than capable of handling my personal life and finances and I am enraged," Bynes tweeted. "I got released from the hospital that Sam Lufti and my parents arranged to send me to because my dad is humiliated by what he's done."
"I am not able to be in the same room with him. He is a sexual predator and he SHOULD BE IN JAIL," she wrote to her 3.38 million followers. "I am going to court with my lawyer today to fight my mother and father over control of my personal life and control of my finances."
