‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 Spoilers: Main Character Faces Horrible Death in Midseason Finale?

Another day, another death rumor. There's major internet buzz that a main character on AMC's "The Walking Dead" is going to die a "bloody" death during the midseason finale. There have been rumors that Glenn (Steven Yeun), Bob (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.) and Tyreese (Chad Coleman) would all die at some point in Season 5, but this new rumor focuses on another main character. (FYI, the Bob death rumors turned out to be true).

This latest intel comes from The Spoiling Dead Fans which wrote:

"We received some information a while back stating the [midseason finale] would have a death and would be bloody. Last night we saw Noah escape the hospital as reported. Recently, we stated that Noah would be used as a 'bargaining chip' when the group goes to the hospital for Carol and Beth. Noah 'volunteers' to return to the hospital with Rick's group.

No one finds Beth as walker. There is a 'standoff' of sorts. She has the choice to leave and has a moment of gumption (or weakness, depending on how you look at it) that leads to her demise. Beth ends up believing that the choice she makes is a necessity in the end. But Beth doesn't envision things ending the way they do. It will be a harrowing moment not only for Beth, but for Daryl, Carol and the others as well."

As of now, this remains strictly a rumor since AMC never confirms or denies this type of stuff. Emily Kinney, who plays Beth, recently dished to Entertainment Weekly about what's in store for her character and said that Beth has reached a point where she's not afraid to fight for her survival.

"I don't think she knows exactly what her plan is. Those last two scenes with Dawn and Edward are moments where you see Beth at a different level, where it's almost like, I know I don't like these people," she said. "There's almost a numbness and a fearlessness and there's no filter anymore. She's not trying to make friends with anyone here. She's just going by gut instinct, like if she wants to grab a knife and stab someone, she's gonna do it. If she wants to run down this hallway, she's gonna do it. She's just gonna do whatever she wants. She doesn't care what these people think and they can beat her up as much as they want. But then I do think that moment where she sees Carol does snap her out of it, and she starts to remember her family and she thinks, oh, maybe we can do something here. It's not just me on my own in this place now."

What do you think of the rumor?
