'Batman vs. Superman' Movie: New Villain 'Knyazev' Lurking On Chicago Set? (RUMORS)

Another alleged character from the DC Universe could be making an appearance in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” movie.

Filming In Chicago posted several images of the “Batman vs. Superman” set in Chicago on their Twitter account. Amongst the photos were two trailer pics that have caused many to speculate about the cast.

One trailer was labeled for the “Kahina Double”, but the one everyone is talking about now is the other with the name “Knyazev.” There are rumors swirling “Kahina” is the role Jena Malone was cast in for the film.

However, it’s the first time fans have heard the name “Knyazev” attached to “Batman vs. Superman.” For those unfamiliar with the DC comics universe, Anatoli Knyazev is the alias for KGBeast, a Russian assassin who learned the skills of the trade by training with the secret organization KGB.

KGBeast also has the nickname of “The Hammer” and first appeared and the Batman universe. It’s unclear what actor would have been brought on to play the Russian assassin, but it’s likely the name could be an alias to protect the identity of a character (Aquaman, for instance).

The “Batman vs. Superman” movie cast is already densely packed with superheroes and other than Lex Luthor, it’s unclear who will be the “main” bad guy, or if there will be on at all.

Ben Affleck has also been spotted on the Chicago set donning the same apparel he was first seen in on the Detroit set. The production may be reshooting scenes or are likely shooting out of order to accommodate schedules.
