The gang is back for a fifth season of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: New York." On Tuesday, VH1 announced that the show will return in December with some new faces added to the cast.
"With fresh faces and returning fan favorites, 'Love & Hip Hop: New York' continues to capture the heart and hustle of being on top of the music industry in the city that never sleeps," the network said. "The birthplace of hip hop is the stomping ground for these hopefuls to continue to make their dreams come true- whether it's to reunite their family, secure a relationship, or become a rising star - they each will hit the pavement trying to make it all happen."
The new cast members include:
Chink Santana: a music producer who has worked with artists like Ashanti and Keyshia Cole. He's having a hard time balancing his demanding work schedule, a soon-to-be former wife and his girlfriend Chrissy Crastanda.
Chrissy Crastanda: owns a modeling agency and is a New York socialite. She's ready to settle down with Chink but there are a lot of obstacles in their way.
Diamond Strawberry: the daughter of former New York Mets' Daryl Strawberry. She moves from Los Angeles to the Big Apple to be with her boyfriend, Cisco Rosado.
Cisco Rosado: a talented producer who has worked with Tank and Jim Jones. His relationship with Diamond takes a nasty turn for the worse when she learns that he hasn't been faithful.
Precious Paris: an artist who was formerly signed with 50 Cent's G-Unit and recently signed to Rich Dollaz's, Dollaz Unlimited. Things are going well for Precious until Rich signs a new artist who may try and steal Precious' spotlight.
Returning for a fifth season is Yandy Smith, who is pregnant with her second child. The season will focus on her unborn baby and her fiancé Mendeecees Harris' legal troubles. Rich Dollaz is back and still up to his old ways.
According to VH1, he teams up with Cyn Santana to mess with her ex, Erica Mena (who is also returning and recently got engaged to Bow Wow). Peter Gunz is back for Season 5 with his wife, Amina Buddafly, who recently gave birth to their first child together. Peter is also dealing with his ex (possibly current) girlfriend, Tara Wallace.
"Amina and Tara are turning the tables on Peter and secrets that were still in the dark will be brought to light," VH1 says.
Season 5 of "Love & Hip Hop" returns Dec. 15 on VH1.
