'Assassin's Creed: Unity' Update: Xbox One Patch Fixes General Glitches, Ubisoft Announces Third Patch Coming Soon

Ubisoft has been working on several patches across all of the gaming platforms for “Assassin’s Creed: Unity” since its launch on Nov. 11, but the game developers have officially released an update for the Xbox One.

The game developers took to their AC live blog to address several issues that came to their attention after players complained of multiple performance issues. Developers are encouraging gamers to let them know of any problems they encounter on their platforms.

“If you’re having problems that aren’t included here, make sure to report them by contacting customer support,” Ubisoft wrote. “We will be updating the forum thread with the comprehensive list of issues —and the known solutions or workarounds — on a regular basis, so be sure to check that page often!”

On Nov. 17, the developers released the Patch 2 for Xbox One. The update should occur when gamers load their title. Check out the list below for the updates.

1. Arno falling through the ground.
2. Game crashing when joining a co-op session.
3. Arno getting caught inside of hay carts.
4. Occasional long delay seen reaching the main screen at game start. (Xbox One only)

“You can review our full known issues list to keep track of what we’re working on,” Ubisoft wrote. “If you’re having problems that aren’t included here, please report them by contacting customer support.”

Developers have also released a preview of Patch 3. Check out the list below with the specific fixes for the title:

1. Gameplay: this includes bugs like Arno getting stuck on certain areas of the map (including a few more hay carts), problems with getting into/out of cover, character animation bugs, and general camera problems

2. AI & Crowd: in this category are problems with NPC animations, crowd events, and crowd stations, NPC navigation issues, as well as bugs related to NPCs detecting Arno’s activities in various situations
